Missouri's wild (technically feral) horses are found in and around Shannon County, Missouri. They live and travel through the forests and, if you are lucky, you can spend some time with them. This photo was taken using a 300mm lens. I do not encourage approaching any wild animal. (c) Holly Ross Photography 2018
About Holly Ross
Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
