This not quite black and white image was taken along Seawall's picnic area in Acadia National Park (Maine). It was a very foggy day and we'd hoped for pictures of the ocean. There IS ocean in this image, but the fog was just that thick.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
