This is one of my favorite mares. Every time I photograph her, she just stares at me. She is also in the photo I titled "Ombre" in my collection called Missouri Wild Horses.
The wild horses are managed by the Missouri Wild Horse League, which only steps in to conduct passive roundups and adoptions when the herd size reaches the federally imposed cap of fifty.
