As part of my "real" job, I get to work with Culinary Arts students in our Area Technical School. One of their goals this year to to create a professional portfolio featuring images of the foods they have created. About Holly Ross
Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by. This is fantastic!! We use pink sea salt all the time. I have never seen it loose like this before! What a great shot! I love the raw salt with the fancy spoon!
