Artist's Description
While traveling through Maine, we stopped at Old Orchard Beach. I wanted to catch a sunrise since we were on the Atlantic. It wasn't the sunrise I'd hoped for, but the ripples in the sand more than makeup for it!

About Holly Ross
Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
