The St. Louis Zoo has many features that hearken back to the World's Far in 1904. This fountain has a plaque commemorating these features.

I love the action of the water, blurring the hard edges of the fountain-head, creating an almost abstract effect.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
