Description
"My treasures do not click together or glitter. They gleam in the sun and neigh in the night." Bedouin Proverb
I will certainly treasure the time I was able to spend with the wild horses near Eminence, Missouri. To be with them as the fog lifted. To look into their eyes and know they were looking back. To walk with them. I can't begin to put a price on the experience.
While there are some horses who are more bold and will approach people, this herd was a bit more reserved and never really got too close to us.
Accepted into Framations "Beyond the Lens" art exhibit, running through March 9, 2017 at Framations Art Gallery, St. Charles, MO.

Holly Ross replied:
Thanks, Elizabeth! They stayed with us until the sun broke through the fog and then they ran off. It was a great morning!

Such a soft representation for these powerful and beautiful creatures. I love seeing wild horses. So far it has only been a wish. Seeing images of them like here is such a treat. A wonderful image., Holly. L/f
Holly Ross replied:
Thanks, Julie! My plan is to go back down next month and I'm keeping my fingers crossed, hoping for babies!
