The Gardenway Motel sits alongside the famous Route 66 in Gray Summit, Missouri. The building, like many of those along the historic route, has seen better days. While many of the locations are in ruin, it is still a fun drive just to get a glimpse of days gone by and snap a few photos of Route 66. (c) Copyright Holly Ross 2017
About Holly Ross

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
