On a small farm in rural Missouri, you will find Highland coo and Shetland sheep. There was something of a baby boom on the farm this year and Kieran, son of Skye, was one of the babies born in August 2020. Here he is with some of the thistle growing in their field; an homage to the Highlands of Scotland where these coo are commonly found.

About Holly Ross
Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
