Artist's Description

*I do not advocate standing in the middle of the tracks for photos. Not stopping in the middle of the tracks. My husband was watching behind me and we could see for quite s distance in both directions.* As we drove through Glenburn on our way home from Bangor, we noticed the storm clouds looming beyond the "end" of the tracks. We all go through storms in life, and seeing them in the distance can cause apprehension. What we often fail to realize is that those storms we see looming there may actually bring rainbows into our lives. (c) Holly Ross Photography 2018

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
