I am not a horse owner, but I do recognize the fact that you can see into the soul of a horse when you look in its eye. I believe, too, that in returning the gaze, the horse touches your soul.
While this is one of the wild horses in Missouri, I have cropped in the original image to focus just on the eye.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world.
