The Quoddy Head lighthouse, the Eastern-most part of the US, is an iconic lighthouse and is quite often surrounded in fog. During our visit, we hiked the Coast Guard Trail and, towards the end, caught glimpse of the light through the trees.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
