Artist's Description

St. Louis is home to stunning brickwork. Some of the historic buildings also feature gorgeous glazed brick. As I was walking to lunch with friends one afternoon, I spotted the word "forgive" etched in one of the bricks. I found that sentiment quite poignant. So many of the buildings are being torn down in the name of progress. It won't be long until these historic architectural features are gone.
