There is a legend associated with the River Sligachan that says if you immerse yourself in its waters, you will have eternal beauty. I think that the fact that this is the view from the river shows that there is eternal beauty in the Black Cuillins, one of the mountain ranges on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. About Holly Ross
Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
