One of the most beautiful vistas in Acadia National Park can be found at Eagle Lake. As much as I'd have loved being atop the mountains in the distance, the one just right of center did my knee in and I was "stuck" walking the carriage paths. But, had I not been relegated to flat land, I'd never have taken this shot.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
