The Current River runs near Eminence, MO and is enjoyed by floaters, kayakers, and canoeists every summer. Its warm colors seem almost tropical and the abstract created by the ripples and shadows is welcoming.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
