Down around Eminence, Missouri, you will find an assortment of old, picturesque mills. Alley Springs Mill is one of the most popular and it is hard to find a unique photo opportunity of the mill because it is so popular. The colors of fall, though, really pop through this image.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
