The sunrise, the stacked stone, the roar of the ocean waves... one could not help but feel a sense of tranquility standing on Boulder Beach. These stacked stones, wet and reflecting the light of the rising sun, create a sense of that tranquility.

Self-taught photographer and Best of Missouri Hands Juried Artist, Holly Ross has explored a wide variety of subjects, but always returns to the more natural elements of our world. Her photos have been described as having an “eclectic mixture of soft, near watercolor effects on florals – almost Japanese in delicacy and Zen-like in simplicity – contrasted with the sharp, clean linear architectural images.” With her photography, she seeks out vantage points that others might pass by.
