North of St. Louis, near the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, you will find a conservation area known as Columbia Bottom. Within that area, you will then find fourteen different fields of sunflowers. This image was taken in one of the fields that required a short walk from the main road. I had hoped for a more dramatic sunset, but we take what we are given and make it beautiful.
